This was the first time for many years that the Spending Review and the Autumn Statement had been combined.  As a result, much of the emphasis was on expenditure and what progress is being made to reduce the deficit.  That said, the Chancellor did make a number of announcements – some of which merely confirmed what he outlined back in July plus some new ones.  We hope you find this brief summary both informative and useful!
