Tackling Aggressive abuse of the VAT FLAT RATE SCHEME The Autumn Statement was delivered today. Yet again more measures were discussed which have an effect on small business. This statement on the Flat Rate Scheme, largely went unnoticed and was just in the notes. I’m sure it’s going to cause just a stir in the coming days and weeks until we get more guidance on it. It is designed to tackle aggressive abuse . Watch this space!!!
