Hi, it’s time for your next profit growth advice with me, Kim. P is for process, most importantly, the speed and efficiency of your processes.
Every minute of your process is eating into your company’s overall profit. So, it goes without saying that the faster your turnaround time from order to delivery, the lower your overhead cost per unit produced or service delivered, and the better your profit margins. Set yourself the task of going back to your main systems from order to delivery and thinking about ways you can speed up your processes. Are there any steps you can eliminate? Any ways of doing parts better and faster? Remember, the faster you make this cycle, the better your margins will be.
So, get your skates on, good luck.
